Application

Engineered for demanding mining environments, the Type A&B 1.1KV Mining Cable is designed to distribute power within underground operations. These 1.1kV cables are specifically suitable for use in underground coal mines. For Type A cables, an optional configuration with 3 pilots is available.

Construction

Conductors: Stranded tinned annealed copper conductor.
Insulation: EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber).
Filling: Elastomer centre filler.
Optional Pilot Core (Type A only): CPE composite insulated and covered pilot conductor.
Screen (earth conductor): Copper wire.
Sheath: Heavy duty PCP (Polychloroprene) sheath.
