Application

Engineered for the most demanding mobile applications, the Type 241 SF (Super Flexible) Mining Cable delivers exceptional performance in harsh mining environments. These cables are specifically designed for situations requiring extremely high flexibility and a minimal bending radius, providing more reliable and durable power transmission where the cable must be repeatedly bent and moved during operation.

Construction

  • 3x Conductors: Flexible stranded tinned annealed copper conductor
  • Conductor Screen: Semi-conductive compound (≥ 3.3/3.3kV and above)
  • Insulation: EPR
  • Insulation Screen: Semi-conductive elastomer
  • Cradle Separator: Semi-conductive PCP
  • Overall Core Screen: Semi-conductive PCP filling and covering
  • 3x Interstitial Earth Conductor: Semi-conductive PCP covered flexible stranded tinned copper conductor
  • 1x Central Extensible Pilot: EPR covered flexible stranded tinned copper conductor
  • Textile Reinforcement: Open-weave braid reinforcement
  • Sheath: Heavy duty PCP sheath (Heavy duty CPE/CSP Optional)
