Description:
AACSR (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced) is a high-strength overhead conductor that features a core made from galvanized steel strands, reinforced with outer layers of high-strength aluminum alloy wires. This unique construction combines the excellent mechanical strength of steel with the superior conductivity and corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy.
Application:
AACSR conductors are designed for long-span power transmission and distribution lines where high tensile strength and durability are essential. Compared to traditional ACSR conductors, AACSR offers improved corrosion resistance, lighter weight, and enhanced conductivity, making it ideal for harsh environmental conditions such as coastal and industrial areas.
